Free Fall Cartesian Model is a small, easy to use application specially designed to display the dynamics of a ball dropped near the surface of Earth onto a platform.
The initial conditions for the ball are an initial positive velocity in the x direction and zero initial velocity in the y direction. The coefficient of restitution for the ball’s collision with the platform is less than one.

Free Fall Cartesian Model Free Download For PC

The ball is released at the center of the platform’s surface.
The platform is represented by a 2D rectangle.
The ball’s initial x velocity is at a known and fixed value, and its initial y velocity is zero.
The platform and ball are symmetrical with respect to the x and y axis.
The balls position is determined using the free-falling ball’s Cartesian equations of motion.

The initial conditions are checked to make sure that the ball and platform are in the correct state before being allowed to start and that there are no unimportant errors with the program’s initial values.

The application is written in the Java language.

The model is coded using a simple Cartesian algebra of the type y = mx + b and is based on a Vector library.

There are 2 modes of operation, stand-alone and modal.
In modal operation, you can run the simulation as either a single or multiple balls. In stand-alone operation, you can set the coefficient of restitution for your simulation. You can also set the number of iterations per second, the initial velocity for the ball, and if it’s a single ball or multiple balls.
Most of the default settings were sufficient for our needs but we feel that you should be able to get a good answer from these data. If you run it in modal mode, you can change the coefficient of restitution, the velocity of the ball initially, and the number of iterations per second. If you run it in stand-alone mode, you can increase the number of iterations per second, increase the number of balls, decrease the coefficient of restitution, or leave it as is.
This program is made for Windows XP and windows 2000.

The simplest way to run the application is to use modal operation to simulate one ball. Select the ball by clicking the “ball selection” tool and press “enter” to add the ball.
In this case, the simulation is most easily viewed by zooming in on the movement of the ball near the earth’s surface.
For an explanation of the application, hover your mouse over the “+ button” on the upper right, then click on “Help.”
To export the simulation to an image file, go to “File” then “Export” then choose “Bitmap (.bmp)” format.
If you close the application and attempt to use it again, it will attempt to re-download the binary file to your hard drive. If it doesn’t find it, restart your computer to “update” the program.
To put the data back in, select “import” and then “import data…”
The data will attempt to import the data every time you shut down or restart the application.
