Hewlett-packard Hp Laserjet 1100 Driver Free Download
I have a Hewlett Packard LaserJet 1100 and I have tried the http://support.hp.com/kb/ht/21619, and have tried the “HP Driver Assistant” and nothing seems to work. I am running Win 7 Home Premium. I have a follow up question, why can’t the “HP LaserJet 1100” Driver be downloaded and installed through the Windows 7 Update feature. I did that before and still nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
Today I got a call from HP support saying my printer is not working on my work PC and they can’t figure out how to install the drivers. It had to be done through windows update and I can get it to download the driver file just not to install. The problem is they say it has to be run from an elevated command prompt and all my troubles are my fault for not having done that from the start. I’m telling them that is the only way it can be done and they say they are only giving me the phone number of my local dealer. Thanks anyone that can help.
This is a great site. I have been looking for drivers for my Laserjet 1100 for quite a while. My HP Laserjet is not working. I have tried installing from the HP site and it does nothing. I have tried the various HP versions of the drivers, as well as installing them from the driver disk it came with. I am running Windows XP SP2.
I have run the driver install as an Administrator and it still does not work. Is there someplace online I can download the latest HP drivers for my Laserjet 1100 for Windows XP SP2? I don’t want to have to revert back to Windows 98. My printer is old and I have had it for over 10 years and I won’t go back to that.
