What a shame. I have just downloaded (for free, I might add) the beta version of EasyReader 2.0 and it seems to be a good program but I have found a bug.
When reading the transcript from the programme I have made there is a lot of text on one page (2 or 3 depending on the font) where the text was all one or more paragraphs even though I had selected the page break.
This bug is so bad that it nearly makes me uninstall the programme. The programme is very user friendly, the only problem is that the transcription is not accurate, and it makes reading the transcript a nightmare.
“This app uses other apps” is the most important item of it. You can’t load into it another app from the new menu “Other Programs”, even if you cut and paste, or use the middle mouse button. This way the program is useless.
I believe that in the book case selection, the radio button for ncc.html is not the same as the radio button for ncc.nrg. This is what I meant about missing save read!
In the default state, the ncc.html is preselected ( correctly ). That is, the radio button for it is lit up.
But in the state where the ncc.nrg is selected, the radio button for it is not lit up.
That is, the app does not save the selection in the NCC.nrg, and it only shows the radio button for ncc.html. And when you play / read, the text you just read, does not preserve the saved selection. ( it can change it to the radio button for ncc.html ).
This behaviour could be normal in most apps, and I assume that is due to the functionality of NCC.nrg as a text file.
But “Read In Headings” does not preserve the selection. This behaviour is good in my opinion. I think it is ok for an app to not preserve the selection in NCC.nrg. Especially with the “Read In Headings” option, if the reader is going to save the selection before
