      Hi, everyone! I have been a bit disappointed in the lack of information regarding K-Game’s new RPG, Elden Ring. The limited information available on the game website has led to a lot of confusion, so I’ve decided to go into a detailed review.

      Elden Ring is the official remake of the FINAL FANTASY XIII (FFXIII) game. Like FFXIII, Elden Ring is a Japan-only game that releases in Japan in December 2013 and North America in 2014. The western release is currently exclusive to Steam. (This version of Elden Ring does not have the 3D version of the original game)

      As an RPG fan, I am sure that you will enjoy this game, regardless of whether you are familiar with the original game.

      I will give you some background information about the game and the first scenario to let you know what the game is about:

      Story

      The story is set in the Lands Between (a roughly triangular area in between the two worlds of the Nintendo 3DS). The story begins in a dusty town that is surrounded by an immense desert. Most of the population are living in a closed society and are excited about the arrival of a noble warrior from a neighboring country. He is rumored to have defeated a large dragon that lives in the remote mountains of the north.

      The noble warrior comes to the town with an entourage of elite soldiers and legendary treasure. This is the moment that began the new adventure of this noble warrior in the Lands Between.

      The story is told in fragments that are presented in an order that is determined by the choices the player makes throughout the game. It is an epic drama that will satisfy anyone’s RPG fan as it connects the stories of the characters in the game.

      Gameplay

      It is a fantasy action RPG and it is played from a third-person perspective. At first glance, the gameplay seems to be similar to traditional RPG games. When you enter the town, you will begin the game with the ability to equip a weapon and a few amount of magic. You will use the right analog stick to move your character and the left analog stick to select items.

      The fighting system is set up in the style of the classic Final Fantasy games with on-screen buttons for abilities. You will use one of nine attacks to perform various attacks and some defensive moves.
