Too Loud is an Indie-Project, in which two guys create their own space adventure, in which you are an alien, which have crashed in the desert.
There is no human player and you are a NPC that you must control.
In this first Chapter of Too Loud, you must find differents sorts of objects in this abandoned factory, which contains 2 levels and some secrets.
You have access to a flashlight which allows you to walk in the dark, and a conversation tool, that allows you to talk to others.
The objective is to reach the end of the second level, through a chain of radio booths.
Why Chapter 1?
The story of Too Loud started because we both wanted to do something original.
In this game we wanted to create a unique look, without any previous references.
We thought that a perfect place would be an abandoned building.
Another reason was to try to make an original game, that somehow relates to some historical space games.
We really like a lot of the old space games, from “Red baron” to “Devil’s descent” and others.
We also enjoyed a lot of films from 80’s and 90’s, like “Starship Troopers” or “Guardians Of The Galaxy”, which also have a lot of elements, that are very close to the game.
We chose the Atari-style graphics, because we like the originals retro-games.
That style is very “80’s” and is very nice to learn.
We also have created some of the music, after we’ve listened some old soundtracks from the 80’s.
We know, that it’s not exactly a music playlist and we hope you’ll find some old tracks you like, after a few listens.
We can’t say much more about the story of the game, because we don’t want to ruin all surprises for you.
But we can tell you a little bit more about the story of the game: we wanted to make a game, where the player doesn’t have any super-powers.
And the player, which controls an Alien, he is the only NPC, and must explore the game.
We want the player to really feel as a protagonist, with some differents powers.
If we talk about some gameplay, we want the player to use his powers, only if he needs it.
The basic gameplay consists of searching for objects, tools and supplies, through a dark abandoned factory.

My test is behaving differently from what I expect it to.
Test step I:
When I check book_list page without logging in, there are no errors, but the page takes a long time to load (see screenshot), also there are some errors.
Test step II:
When I log in and check book_list page, there is no errors, but the page returns an HTTP code of 404. This is expected (since the table has changed).
Test step III:

something. Trust me, you do not want to be working for the
opposition these days. I can afford to take advantage of everyone, I’m
greater than anyone.” He paused; his voice had cracked a little. As
he went on, he regained confidence in himself. “Each and every
subject has had a chance to sort themselves out. You know the result of
this. Why are you here then?”

Emma snorted; she was turning green, something only her mother
could do. Drayden ignored her, this time genuinely.

“Er,” Emma pushed up, “what is…is he talking about?”

“These are my subjects. The people that are digging this
quarried area.”

“Charming countryside, you have to admit.” commented Emma,
she continued walking.

“I’m just trying to make the most of their hard work.”
replied Drayden, ignoring Emma’s comment, “you don’t need to
break stones anymore, give them back the land. They’re behind, damn
behind. Well I’m in first.”

“If we return the land, then all the people will have to
start over.”

“They’re not going to bother. If I can have what I want,
my way, then what’s the point of going through these problems?”

Emma sighed, she knew that coming from her they were going to
be wasting their time. But it was about time they did.

“So are you going to let us go?” added Emma.

“No.” replied Drayden with no emotion in his voice.

“Then where’s the point in telling us our path will be
short?”

“You really don’t get it do you? If I wanted to just push
you and give you mules to do my work, I would. I have no say in
you.”

Emma sighed, it was pointless arguing; she had thought they
were just going to voice their opinion with a sword held to their
throats. As to her father, he was almost done in.

“Where’s he been?” he asked Embers, “I thought I heard
something.”
