Create a drawing

Create a drawing. At the lower left corner, the Autodesk logo appears. Click the Autodesk logo to open a new menu and choose New, then click 2D Drawing.

A new 2D drawing window opens. It contains the active layer (DRA), which is used to store drawing objects.

Many CAD applications now support importing drawings from one application into another. AutoCAD and other CAD applications have been supporting this functionality for several years. As in other CAD applications, designers have expressed interest in the ability to import feedback directly into their current AutoCAD drawings.
