COVID-19 has led to unprecedented measures for many world populations, including students worldwide \[[@bib21]\]. In some cases, these restrictions are impacting existing and future education \[[@bib22]\]. Adolescents and young adults experience developmental challenges and may have heightened exposure to related issues such as stress \[[@bib22], [@bib23], [@bib24], [@bib25], [@bib26], [@bib27], [@bib28]\]. However, in some cases, young people may also be the primary users of online learning resources as they provide a form of asynchronous learning that is often more convenient for some young people \[[@bib29]\]. In our own experience, this may be particularly true for some adolescents who may be more used to online resources as they may have spent years using online technology.

For those individuals, online teaching can offer the opportunity to be inclusive, and to increase educational attainment \[[@bib29]\]. For both students and teaching staff, being able to provide opportunities for online learning is essential \[[@bib29], [@bib30], [@bib31]\]. However, perhaps more worryingly, young people themselves may have different expectations of online learning than those who attend their local schools \[[@bib32]\]. This is especially true when considering the evolving nature of online resources for education, where changes in both platform and content have been made \[[@bib29], [@bib32]\]. An experience which was once reserved for offline learning is now available online, potentially causing anxiety among some users \[[@bib29]\]. Even if this is not a concern for those who are not satisfied with the service, the level of support to be provided by administrators and fellow students in the online environment is currently unknown \[[@bib33]\]. In some cases, students may feel that they can get

Q:

React Native – “unexpected token” error with “;”

This is my first ever stackoverflow post, so I apologize if I do anything wrong or if this question has already been posted and answered. I’ve checked it out, and the answers seem to show how I’m trying to implement this, but I’m still getting an error.

I’m trying to implement this into a standard React Native (0.61.2) project.
I’ve double checked this tutorial ( which uses the same syntax for a different API I’ve got installed, and that error is also thrown.
Can somebody point out what I’m doing wrong?
