this build is based around the rest of the lumberjack mods and the lv2. i know this looks like a pau in parts.. but i couldn’t tell how to place properly. its kind of a combo of a pau and a monolith, its all about the pattern. it makes a great set up against the autos (2/2/2) late game but could be unplayable in the early game.

thalia: 2 you are really no match for these towers. they aren’t the fastest or the strongest but their ability to block view and clear units is unmatched. they are so fast, it is literally impossible to outcycle them. the only way you can hope to get behind them is to abuse the polygon block from behind them, but even then you can lose valuable units trying to recover. they aren’t the nastiest matchup, but it is definitely the biggest stinger matchup.

bombardment: 2 counters two units, but they do not take as much damage to kill or as many units to walk off. so you can shoot lots of units, but you will have to actually kill them. they are useful but not the most flexible matchup.

barrage: 4 counters two units, but they do not take as much damage to kill or as many units to walk off. so you can shoot lots of units, but you will have to actually kill them. they are useful but not the most flexible matchup.

abaddon: 0 abaddon is the least annoying matchup. you can generally play with the character and hope to slowly kill her off before she has a chance to actually do any damage to you. their early game is really annoying but the worst i’ve ever seen. a few good attacks and you can eliminate abaddon very quickly.

my favorite part of doing lumberjack was getting to write dexter’s introduction to the gun show. i thought it would be a good way to set up the kind of jokes that i thought would work on dexter. i thought it would be really easy to write a joke about the weapons being too big for him. i was very wrong.
lumberjack was a real challenge for me. it was a first for me. i had been doing comedy for five years and had been in a sketch comedy group and had a lot of experience. to me this was the ultimate challenge. it was difficult for me. it was really difficult to write. it was also very difficult to make a show like this. it was difficult to do it consistently. i don’t know that it was easy to make but it was easy to do.
the show was never about the killing. we never liked the word kill. the show was about the hunt. it was about the craft. it was a different kind of work. if we were going to do a show that had a season finale that felt like a season finale, it had to be about that. lumberjack was a culmination of everything that we had done to this point.
the most important thing i learned as a writer, especially on this show was how to give the actors space. it was so different from my experience writing for film, especially comedy. in film there is no space. you have to bring everything in. i was always told to bring everything in, and you have to make it funny, and you have to have a joke to every moment. i always felt that was not true in the case of lumberjack. you had to give the actors space to react. that was what i learned from working with michael on this show, that there is space in comedy for characters to react. there is space to take things from place to place.
