Well, it looks as though the book was removed due to a copyright claim, since it has a copyright (CC-BY-SA) disclaimer on the front. The owner stated that it is in the book, but I can’t see any credit. The owner of the website is asking for $70 for replacement, and I know he is not taking insurance. So it looks like we’ll have to get inventive. So I’m going to try the reproms and then compile a how-to for the rest of us. Please comment with questions, I’ll do my best to answer them. Any/all help is appreciated.

First, I’m no computer wizard. I tried each of your suggested steps with no luck, or partial actions. Never found a RepRom.exe file. I did get a desktop shortcut, double clicked it and got the first three or so usual screens all messed up. It is asking a lot, but if you could give me a detailed install step-by-step here or on pm, it would be appreciated. If you are ever in Cincinnati, I’ll be happy to buy you lunch.

I recently purchased this since no clymer or haynes manual is available for the later model RTs. I think I’ve gotten spoiled by the service manuals Harley/Buell produces. Mere mortals can work on their bike with the book (and they are that, books). I mentioned to the parts person at the BMW shop that I was a bit disappointed in the RepROM especially for the price. He mentioned that they really weren’t intended for the shade tree mechanic, but for people already well versed in how to repair a BMW bike. If that’s the case, I don’t understand why they haven’t come out with a better manual for us common folks.
