i have another question : when i use at command mode, i am able to send at + command only once. i need to send at command again, and again. but when i don’t connect it to hc-05 module, it is working fine. so why i cannot send at command again after i finish send at command once?
and i have one more question. on hc-05 module, there is button(blue button) at the end of hc-05 module (on the right side of hc-05 module). and i don’t know what it is.
so please let me know if you have any idea about this.

i have one question too.
i’m trying to make two arduino’s talk to each other via btooth.
my understanding is that the arduino in question needs to be in at mode to talk to the other one, otherwise it will not hear the at command and will not respond. so i need to be able to toggle between at mode and normal mode. can i do this via software?
for example, if the arduino is in at mode, i can send an at command via serial monitor. if i send a stop command, i need to revert back to normal mode, otherwise i cannot receive the at command sent from the arduino.

i have another problem. i cannot turn the led off by writing “at+cgw=0” in my arduino. it is just like it is on.
i also tried “at+cgw=1” but it doesn’t work.

i am learning bluetooth with hc-05 for a project and i can successfully pair the hc-05 and my computer using the provided java program. i can also send and receive data in at mode. i can send data at baud rate of 9600, 4800, and 115200. however, i am having trouble using baud rate 230400. i am wondering if i am not able to connect to the hc-05 when i set the baud rate to 230400. also, my hc-05 can receive data on its own when i am sending it at baud rate 230400. when i send data at 9600, 4800, or 115200, i receive the correct data. but when i send data at baud rate 230400, i do not get the correct data. i am not sure if it is the bluetooth module, the computer, or the arduino that is causing the problem. could you please help?

ok your answer was pretty helpful. i did not know about the existence of the hm-10 bluetooth module and after looking it up it is the one i have and i’m trying to use to set as a slave. the other one is a hc-05 and works wonders, just like you described. the third bt module i have i still can’t seem to understand what model it is nor why it doesn’t go to at mode. it also does not have a button. thank you!
sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. i was looking for an arduino specific place to post my knowledge and understanding of this. i have been working on making my hc-05 radio communicate with my arduino. i am having trouble getting the hc-05 to communicate with the arduino. i can communicate with the arduino in at command mode without the hc-05. i believe it has something to do with the way the hc-05 is configured. i have been trying to figure this out for the past week. i would like to use at mode instead of command mode. i know at mode can be used with the hc-05 but i am not sure how to use it. i am using a hc-05 v3.0, and the arduino uno. i have been trying to read documentation but it doesn’t seem to be very helpful. i have the hc-05 connected to the arduino at pin 13, and pin 11 is not connected to anything. i have tested the hc-05 with an android device, and am able to communicate with the hc-05 using the android app that came with it. the problem is i need to use the hc-05 with an arduino. i have been unsuccessful trying to get the hc-05 to talk to the arduino. it will work using at command mode, but not at mode. this is very frustrating. i have been reading documentation, and have tried multiple things. the hc-05 is unable to communicate with the arduino in at mode. i have tried to change the baud rate, and a couple other things. i need to find out how to make it communicate in at mode. i have had trouble with this in the past, but i am just not able to figure it out. i know it is possible. i know there are tutorials out there, but they are not easy to find. i have searched and searched. any help would be appreciated.
