lightform is a real-time 3d projection mapping system and video compositing tool for architecture, construction and interior design. use it to project any kind of content (text, animated videos, photos, 3d models, video or even your own projections) onto any surface and control the display. artificially project any building interior on to walls and floors, or even make the building fall apart. change the appearance of a wall, floor or ceiling to make them look like theyre made of soft fabric, dust or crumble. turn a person or a product into a soft fabric, change the appearance of their clothes to make them look like theyre made of soft fabric, change their facial expression, anything.
once you have completed the publishing process, you can save the project as a.fla file. the.fla file can then be viewed and edited in flashdevelop. during editing, lightform will generate a.xml file with meta-information to aid in editing the project. learn more about the benefits of this in the editing section of this document.
lightform can be installed on any pc that has flashdevelop installed. to get started, download flashdevelop. this is available for windows 7 and 8, and linux. download the latest release of flashdevelop to ensure compatibility with all of the latest lightform releases.
