The script will search for the IP address of the specified computer in the arp -a output and replace the MAC address of the target computer with the MAC address stored in the batch file (in this case, 1234).

Script Errors

For this tool to work, there are a few conditions which have to be met.

The computer should be connected to the LAN.

The computer should be powered on.

The computer should be set to power on when a network card connects to it (by checking the “power on when a network card is plugged in or removed” option in the Power Options Control Panel).

If any of these conditions are not met, the script will not work.
